Mechanical Polishing, Electropolishing, Pickling, Bead Blasting, Degreasing & Passivation of Stainless Steel Fabrications & Assemblies form the basis of the key specialist services that are undertaken by MPE Limited since 1989 when former Managing Director Colin Owen started the business. Initially operating out of a small local unit, it wasn't long before the works needed to expand to a new 10,000 sq ft modern factory. Starting out with only two employees, the company has now grown to over 40 strong, having partnerships and associations with other related organisations which complement each other. Since its formation, MPE has seen many changes in local, national and international industry that has required continuous process evolution in order to meet customers expectations. In fact, MPE has relished these challenges which have generated sustainable growth.
Investment & Expansion
Recent investments, expansions and diversifications have included a new larger pickling and electropolishing facility to create greater production capacity. Additionally, meeting the challenges of onsite operations such as cleaning, passivating and sanitising stainless steel fabrications for architectural, medical and pharmaceutical sectors, has lead to further success.

Working through challenging times, the company has maintained a policy of reinvesting in both staff training staff and capital equipment, which contributes to our highly successful ongoing improvement programme.
